Exams are just around the corner, but there's still time to get prepared and set yourself up for success.

Make use of past exams

If you’re looking for a way to test your subject knowledge, try using past exam papers. They allow you to experience the types of questions you might come across in an exam, and practicing will help you feel prepared and confident.

Studying with others is one of the best ways to stay motivated. Why not get your friends together and book a group study room?

Looking for a peaceful place to study?

If you find that focusing is easier in a place that’s calm, then our quiet study spaces are the sanctuary you need. Find them in every campus Library.

If in doubt, head to the Library

We’ve got your revision covered with a range of Library resources to support your study.

Start with our online Library guides. They list databases, books and online journals relevant to your area of study.

You should also check out the Library’s Help yourself page, which has plenty of information to help you get started.

Feed your mind

Snacking regularly will help fuel your mind for study, and we’ve got you covered. Every campus Library will have snacks available throughout exams. Keep an eye out for signs in your campus library for dates and times.

Take it easy

Don’t forget to take time out from your study schedule to relax. Taking time away from study helps you to recover and return to your work with greater focus.

During the exam period, visit the Library for activities such as colouring in and puzzles to help you keep calm.

We also offer online films, TV shows and magazines, for when you decide to take a break.

Remember to sleep

While it can be tempting to study all night long, your brain needs sleep to function. And while you rest your brain stores and remembers that precious exam info that you are trying so hard to learn.
