Set yourself up for study success with ACU Library

Do you like to start your research with Google? But want the quality that comes with peer reviewed information from the library? We can help.

Set yourself up for assessment success with these two things. They will combine the ease of using Google or Google Scholar and the benefits of using reliable scholarly information from the library.

  1. Set up LibKey Nomad and Google scholar for quick, free, access to high quality, scholarly information.
Do you start your search for information with Google? And do you get frustrated when you find a great article or ebook only to be asked to pay for it? Check out these search tools that will save you money and time.

  2. Keep your eyes open for Institution/Organisation/Library logins on the internet
If you are searching the internet and you end up at a paywall, where you are asked to pay for information, have a look at the site and see if there are any options for you to sign in via your institution/organisation/library. There will usually be a drop-down list where you can pick your institution/organisation/library (Australian Catholic University) then use your ACU username and password to sign in. If you have any access problems, use our Report a problem form to get in touch.
