It's important to keep track of the materials you have on loan. Any items that are overdue may result in a fine.
Pay fines online or in person at the Library information desk using money added to your library card.
Check your fines through My Library. You may also be eligible to renew your loans before their due date.
We will send reminder notices to your ACU email address when your loans are nearly due as well as overdue. They are sent as a courtesy. It is up to you to renew or return your borrowed items on time.
Fines are charged at the following rates:
| Type of loan | Fine |
|---|---|
| Recalled items | 50 cents per item per day |
| High demand (2 hour loans) | $1 per hour (or part thereof) |
| 3 day loans and interlibrary loans | $2 per item per day |
Fines are capped at $50 per item.
