Brisbane Campus lift work disruptions

Lift installation works will take place in the Brisbane library (building 204) from Monday 7 July through to September 2025.

Work to install a new lift in the library building will take place on weekday evenings and will cause noise and some access closures.

What you need to know

• Noisy works will affect library spaces in Building 204 from 6 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Ground floor access in Building 204 will be unavailable from 5 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Library spaces in Building 216 and the upper floors of 204 will remain open and accessible as normal during all opening hours (7 am to 10 pm).
• Need a book from the ground floor? You can request it in advance via Library Search and collect it from the hold shelf on Level 1.
