Take time to reflect and make a visible pledge to reconciliation.
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to reflect on how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in practical and meaningful ways.
At Australian Catholic University, Reconciliation Week activities invite staff, students and community to pause, reflect, listen deeply and consider how reconciliation can be lived out through our daily actions, relationships and responsibilities.
This focused reconciliation activity provides an opportunity for the ACU community to build on the shared reflection of the liturgy through conversation, creativity and visible commitment. The activity offers a simple, reflective and symbolic way to come together and express a shared commitment to reconciliation.
All completed hands from this activity will be showcased in the library at each campus, highlighting the community's collective pledges and creative expressions and serving as a focal point for ongoing reflection and engagement during National Reconciliation Week and beyond.
Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to the display on their campus, and we look forward to seeing the pledges grow over the coming week.
