Reading is the perfect way to unwind after the stressful flurry of completing exams and meeting deadlines. Struggling to choose your next read or haven't picked up a book in a while? Now is a great time to curl up with a classic novel and see what all the fuss is about.
If you're a little daunted when it comes to reading classic literature, you're not alone, but ACU's Dr Johanna Harris, Associate Professor of Literature, has you covered. Her recent article in The Conversation, 'How to read the classics in an age of distraction – and 3 short books to get you going', breaks down why we find these texts tricky at times, and how to get started on your journey.
