Metrics can be used to demonstrate your research performance for grant applications and more.

The tool you use to locate evidence to support your claims of research impact will vary depending on your discipline.

Each discipline has its own citing and publishing behaviour, and the value of metric analysis will vary across disciplines. Results will vary between the databases as they are searching different collections of journals and other resources.
