Share your data with collaborators during the project

When developing your data management plan consider how you intend to share your files during the project.

The ACU Isilon drive (or shared drive) is not accessible to external researchers. IT are developing a secure SharePoint solution to be implemented by June 2024.

If you are working with survey data and clinical trials in REDCap and need to share this data with external collaborators, you can request an account for your research partner by contacting eResearch.

Document your research and data so others can interpret the data. Begin to document your data at the very beginning of your research project and continue throughout the project.

Share your data after project completion

Scholarly communication is no longer restricted to traditional publications, but includes all research outputs such as data, software, code, and algorithms.

Research data is a valuable research output and can be published and cited.
