Support to researchers and students in developing and refining search strategies to undertake a literature or systematic review.

DOI minting of Research Datasets

Create Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for datasets and grey literature lodged within Research Bank to enable better discoverability of ACU research output.

Endnote and RefWorks

Access to Endnote and RefWorks through the website and across student PCs in the university. The library will also provide training and support to users in these tools.

Finding resources relevant to your research

Library may assist in locating items or articles.

Grants

Assistance to researchers in providing impact assistance to support a grant application and advising on aspects of the grant submission such as Data Management plans.

Impact

Assistance to researchers in how to calculate impact using tools such as SciVal and Scopus, and be aware of the various impact measures within their discipline. Librarians will also be able to advise on how to maximize a researcher’s impact through social media, and their researcher profiles.

Inter Library Loans

Researchers may request items for loan from other institutions at no cost to themselves.

ISBN Allocation for monographs

Allocation of  ISBNs for monographs which have been published by ACU researchers and the University. (on request)

Library staff can direct researchers to their access and support points within IT and the Research Office.

Open Access Publishing Support

Assist researchers with advice on how to support Open Access through their journal choice and through submitting their accepted manuscripts to Research Bank. The Library Research Services team will ingest Open Access publications into Research Bank.
